I like using WordPress which is a blogging software that comes with a few free look and feel templates. You can also buy some snazzier looking templates. There are lots of and lots of these templates for sale and it makes launching your first website a bit easier.

Bluehost Site Hosting

I have tried a number of different hosting services and am currently using Bluehost.com.

Here are the reasons that I have liked Bluehost.com so far:

• 24 hour LIVE service – I am a complete novice at developing and managing websites. My orientation and experience has been as a manager of strategic projects and I don’t want to get into the tech details. I need to be able to call someone whenever I am stuck to unstick me!
• The Bluehost.com control panel – I think this is pretty easy to use, but I have had to call the wonderful service line to get help sometimes. Once I got a grounding in it, I found the control panel helpful and pretty easy to use.
